In your final assignment for the course, you will apply your knowledge of organizations to an organization of your choice. Using Bolman & Deal's four frames, you will do an in-depth analysis of various elements of this organization. You will describe what experts suggest to address the concerns you will identify, illustrate how others in similar circumstances have handled these issues, and offer recommendations to enhance the success of this endeavor.
The report should be seven to eight pages in length, be stylistically and grammatically polished, and include
-a brief description of the organization you are analyzing,
-discussion of the specific challenges that are being faced in each frame,
-presentation of how various efforts have successfully addressed challenges like these in the past, and
-an action plan that specifically identifies how the organization may move from its current state to a future goal state.
In your research for this assignment, you will need to find ten good sources other than your text for this course. Although you may look to the "popular press" (e.g., Time, Newsweek) for ideas about current issues in this area of interest, please make sure at least eight of the sources you reference are those more appropriate for a research paper (e.g., scholarly articles). Do not forget to cite your sources any time you use information from them. This includes any time you use someone else's ideas or paraphrase their words as well as when you directly quote them. You must give the authors credit for their work. Also, please remember to use APA style in your in-text cites and reference list.
