Service Learning
Tara incorporates a consulting model of service learning in many of the courses she teaches.  Her interests in this area focus on assessing the impact of service on learning and on using this tool to enhance students' professional readiness, communication skills, and creativity.  She serves on the Service Learning Advisory Committee of the University of Southern Maine's Lewiston-Auburn Campus.
